Alice in wonderland

In alice´s adventures in wonderland - written by Lewis Carroll was published in 1865 is like a book of secrets, and written like codes. adventures in wonderland decoded is about those secrets. the first secret that you read about is the life of the author and the book then reveals how the real life in a way changed his life. The second secret is about the little Alice and how the fairytale changed her real life. and the third secret is about wonderland and how wonderland is a memory palace. It´s a time capsule of the Victorian age encrypted with what was once called the wisdom of the ages. It was only possible because wonderland is a multidiciplined multi layered construct that is both deeply puzzling and endlessly facinating.[HL1] 

 

during the process of hunting te white rabbit, Alice fell from a rabbit hole and began the journey. Then she came to wonderland. In this time and place, the logics no longer applies, and the animals alice meets can also talk to her. Some say that the story is about ´´Alice unlimitate goal is to mature´´ because Alice tried to act as an adult in all kinds of experiences in wonderland. Much evidence in the book shows that Carroll can recognize the difference stages of children´s growth and maintain the ability to grow[HL2] [HL3] 

 

An incident that happened was after she had hunted the white rabbit she fell into a hole, when she lands she´s in a mysterious hall. she finds a tiny golden key on a table. at first she thinks it might go to the door, but the key is way to small to fit the doors, she looks throught the keyhole and sees a magnificent garden, she finds a bottle on the table that has ´´drink me´´ written on it. Now this is where Alice begins to act more adult and decides to think carefully before she just drinks. She thinks about what consequences it can lead to as well. A little girl who is now starting to act more in a adult way. When she begins to imagine what can happen to how to drink from a bottle in the middle of nowhere, in a room where she recently ended up in for the first time.[HL4] 

when she finally does so , she shrinks to only 10 inches tall. Alice wants to get into the garden but realizes she forgot the key on the table, then she finds a small cake that´s says ´´eat me´´ on it. after a while she starts growing and growing until her head smacks the roof. 

 

This facinating and imaginative drink and cake is a big part of Alice in wonderland. when alice first tried, she had no idea how it could affect her or how she could control it. But over time, alice learns to act when and how she should take part in what she has and also learns to take advantage of what comes her way in a postitive way. [HL5] 

 

Another example that is a big part of the book is the white rabbit. The white rabbit is a good example of how today´s adults behave. wherever you find the rabbit, he is always in full stress and always checks the clock so as not to be late. If we take Stockholm as an example of today´s societ, the people are always busy and stressed , very unpleasant in certain situations. It´s like the people there do not see anything in front of them to keep track of time and just be focused on a certain thing. which is a good example of how the white rabbit is in the book.[HL6] 

 

Lewis Carroll is the most quoted author in the world although Alice´s adventures of wonderland have been with us for a hundred and fifty years it actually feels like forever. But why does it feels like that? Alice´s in wonderland is actually the oldest story in the world. The tale of a maintaince descent to an underground world was first recorded over 5000 years ago.[HL7] 

Alice in wonderland is not just a fantasy book, but a book that captures one´s interest and lets one understans and somehow live into the story. A fantasy book where something exciting happens whithout you seeing it coming. A fantasy story that is nor real but in the same way reality based when it comes to the character´s way of thinking or personality . All the characters in the book each represent a unique personality and from the perspective they look at things[HL8]
