A further comment:
The word vindriktning, wind direction, should be avoided. Some people mean the direction wind comes from, some people mean the direction wind is going to. Please use words that can not be misunderstood.
Men visst är västanvind ett vackert ord?
Nordlig vind är vind mot syd.
Nordlig ström är ström mot nord.
Viktigt att kunna när man lyssnar på sjörapporten :)
Trist om man lägger sig i "lä" på fel sida om kobben mot öppet hav.
